Chyro Ryde Western Interface
An interface is a thing or circumstance that enables separate and sometimes incompatible elements to coordinate effectively. Most saddle pads on the market today are designed in an attempt to distribute the weight of the rider evenly along the entire back of the horse. These products fail to take into consideration the anatomy and biomechanics of the equine back. Your horse’s rib cage is designed to carry your weight very effectively. The ribs sit in deep socket type joints of the thoracic vertebra giving this region added stability. The shoulder blades must be able to move freely in two directions. They must be able to rotate towards the back of the animal as well as move laterally in order to give the lower neck maximum flexion. The inserts in the Chyro-ryde™ Saddle Interface ensure that the weight of the rider is distributed evenly along the rib cage of the horse while freeing up the scapulas for maximum movement. The western Chyro-ryde is a 30” X 60” thin Navajo blanket with the base inserts sewn inside. Colors availability may change but you may chose from Black, Brown, Green, Light Blue, Teal, Pink, or Black. The shim length can be ordered in 12, 14, or 16” sizes.
